"Woo..Hoo...!! We are setting off to KL." Everyone was excited about this mission trip especially since when we were going together as a cell group. Twenty of us got on to our bus (just for N322) and started our journey to the mission field - Kuala Lumpur.
We reached Sunway at around 3.30pm. After putting down our luggage, we quickly went down to the convention hall to prepare for an exciting emerge session that night. Sheau Huei, Jia Hao, Joan, Jeff, Ken, Yumei, Janice, En En, Carol served as ushers. Wei Lim, Yung Yeow, Roland, Wai Tat, Wiltian, Anthony, Keng Hui were in charged of security. Merine, Clara, Lindy served in the children ministy and Li Ling lent her expertise in the chorus board ministry. The highlights of the 1st Emerge session were the Taiwan celebrity Liu Geng Hong, POS competition as well as Pst Kong's preaching on cultural mandate and being creative.
The first night was good in spite of the uncertainties in our new ministry. But we knew that greater things were going to come......

Seven o'clock, time for breakfast. It was a buffet provided by the hotel. After filling our stomach, we went straight to start our 2nd day mission. Session 2 was not that crowded but the atmosphere was very, very good. The worship team from Singpore CHC brought the concregation into the Holy of Holies. Even when I was guarding the door, I felt the urge to cry because of the strong love of God.

The last session of KL emerge was full of surprises. Firstly, the manager of Taiwan singer Ah Mei was there to share her testimony - how God used the songs of Sun to save her from her depression. Certainly the bigger star of the night was Hong Kong actress Feng Bao Bao.
Feng Bao Bao shared that she entered the entertainment industry when she was only 4 years old. Even though she was that young, she was able to act out a crying scene without any difficulty. As everyone saw her as a smart and talented kid, she didn't dare to ask any question even when she was curious. Due to such experiences, she suffered from depression which is very common in a lot of celebrities. Eventually she was saved from depression by Christ.Her testimony made an impact and touched many in the audience. Let's continue to reach out to people out there who have not known Christ!
